Senior Housing [Sterling Village]

Sterling Village is Piscataway Township's independent living residence for people who have the following two qualifications:

  • At least 62 years of age.
  • Meet income eligibility guidelines as established by the NJ Affordable Housing Association.


You do not need to be a resident of Piscataway to be eligible for tenancy.

Conveniently located adjacent to the Piscataway Township Senior Center, Sterling Village consists of 150 apartments, a large community room and many sitting areas throughout the building. Outdoor areas include a large furnished patio, benches, picnic tables and grills, and a large carport for easy pick up and drop off.

The Township of Piscataway is proud to provide affordable housing to senior citizens through its Department On Aging.

Information regarding rents (which include heat, water and electricity), the application process and eligibility can be directed to Sterling Village at (732) 699-0033 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.  Building tours can be arranged by appointment.
